The final raspberries and currants are finished
meaning we are now out of fruit
across the board.
After a fantastically sunny start to the season followed,
typically, by a month of unsettled weather we are closing today,
8th August, only one day earlier than last year, which is a bit
of a surprise given the markedly different weather.
We are delighted that the fruit has again been of
a consistently excellent quality throughout the summer, from the
first strawberries back at the end of May right up to this week
and the final raspberries and currants. Next year we will
have new strawberry fields that will continue right through July
and into early August which we are looking forward to have.
